This week, Tuesdays with Dorie is three years old. I have SO appreciated and enjoyed being part of the group for the last two years and a few odd months. Being a part of the group has truly stretched my baking muscles.
Each year, when TWD turns another year older, a recipe is chosen for the group. This year it was Midnight Crackles.
A dangerously addictive, intense and chocolatey cookie. The dough was easy to work with-I only chilled the dough for half an hour and then formed the dough into balls and rolled them in sugar, then pressed the dough down lightly with the bottom of a glass.
This cookie is the kind that can call one out of the bed…in the middle of the night.
You can find the recipe here.
